A- KOMO is a Japanese restaurant concept in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. Executive Chef Macku Chan, known for his exceptional reputation of all things sushi showcases a new dimension to his cuisine.

B- We were tasked with designing a website that could effectively showcase its unique menu and dining experience. The website had to be visually stunning, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines in order to attract more customers and drive business growth.

A- Our research on the restaurant industry, competitor analysis, and web design trends revealed that consumers are increasingly reliant on websites for restaurant research and reservations. As a result, an alluring and visually robust website was pivotal to distinguish themselves from the competition.

B- Additionally, we discovered that the majority of diners use social media links to make restaurant reservations, underscoring the need for a mobile website that is not only user-friendly but also visually appealing and easily accessible.

A- We developed a website strategy that would highlight the restaurant's unique offerings and provide an easy-to-use reservation system for customers. The website was designed with high-quality images of the restaurant's food and interior, and was optimized for search engines to increase online visibility. We ensured that the website was mobile-friendly for customers on-the-go.

A- We drafted a wireframe for the website using figma, and then proceeded to customize that model into Wordpress utilizing elementor for the build out and animations.

B- This website had to showcase a strong visual impact on the user to keep up with the market standards within the industry. By skillfully streamlining the user experience, it seamlessly blends with natural human scanning patterns, ensuring effortless navigation through every corner of the site.

A- Since the launch of the new website, Komo has experienced increased website traffic, reservations, and customer engagement. The website has received positive feedback from customers, and has helped to establish Komo as a premier Japanese restaurant in the Chicago area. The website's search engine optimization has also helped to drive more organic traffic to the site, resulting in increased business growth for the restaurant.

B- Since the launch date of 10/2021, Komo has received over 180,000 views, with an average of 315 views daily.
